General Provisions These general terms and conditions govern all services offered by Le Cercle Blanc. Any reservation, order, or use of Le Cercle Blanc services implies the client’s full and unreserved acceptance of these terms and conditions. Le Cercle Blanc reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. The applicable conditions are those in eff ect at the time of booking. Le Cercle Blanc declines all liability in the event of an accident, subject to mandatory applicable legal provisions.
Reservations and Confirmation All services must be booked in advance. Services are only considered confirmed upon receipt of full payment, unless otherwise agreed in writing by Le Cercle Blanc. Le Cercle Blanc reserves the right to refuse any reservation that does not comply with its organizational, security, or availability requirements.
Prices and Included Services Prices are indicated in Swiss Francs (CHF) unless otherwise stated. Unless expressly indicated otherwise at the time of booking, prices notably do not include:
Lift passes;
Meals and drinks;
Ski equipment, snowboards, or any other personal equipment;
Personal insurance;
Any incidental or personal expenses.
Payment All services must be paid for in advance. In the absence of full payment within the specified timeframe, Le Cercle Blanc reserves the right to cancel the reservation without indemnity or compensation.
Cancellation, Modification, and No-Show Any request for cancellation or modification must be communicated in writing to Le Cercle Blanc.
Cancellation or modification is free of charge up to 3 days before the start of the service.
For any cancellation or modification made between 3 days and 24 hours before the start of the service, 20% of the total amount will remain due.
For any cancellation or modification made within 24 hours preceding the start of the service, 100% of the total amount will remain due. In the event of a no-show at the agreed time and place, the full amount of the service will be retained by Le Cercle Blanc. Any cancellation insurance or additional coverage purchased remains non-refundable, unless expressly stated otherwise.
Delays Any delay by the client may result in a reduction in the duration of the service, without a price reduction or right to a refund.
Liability Le Cercle Blanc undertakes to provide its services with diligence and professionalism. Le Cercle Blanc cannot be held liable for damages resulting from:
Inappropriate behavior by the client;
Failure to comply with safety instructions;
Improper use of equipment;
Cases of Force Majeure;
Circumstances beyond the control of Le Cercle Blanc. In any event, the liability of Le Cercle Blanc is limited to cases of gross negligence or intentional misconduct, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Equipment Provided When equipment is provided by Le Cercle Blanc or its partners, the client assumes custody of it for the duration of the service. The client is responsible for any loss, theft, breakage, deterioration, or damage resulting from a fall, improper use, negligence, or failure to follow instructions provided.
“Cercle Protect” Insurance 9.1 Purpose Cercle Protect is an insurance policy offered to clients to cover services booked with Le Cercle Blanc in the event of accident, illness, or when services cannot take place due to the closure of the ski area or lift facilities. 9.2 Insurer The insurer is Le Cercle Blanc, offering this coverage under the brand name Cercle Protect. 9.3 Policyholder The policyholder is any natural person who has reserved or purchased services from Le Cercle Blanc and has subscribed to Cercle Protect. 9.4 Covered Services Cercle Protect exclusively covers services reserved or purchased from Le Cercle Blanc and only for the insured person. 9.5 Premium The insurance premium is CHF 10.– per day for a maximum of 2 people. For each additional person, an amount of CHF 10.– per day per person will be charged. 9.6 Commencement and Duration The insurance takes effect upon subscription and remains valid for the duration of the reserved services. 9.7 Coverage Conditions Cercle Protect covers the services mentioned above in the following cases:
In the event of an accident of the insured person, upon presentation of a medical certificate only;
In the event of illness of the insured person, upon presentation of a medical certificate issued during the validity period of the insurance and no later than 48 hours following the first day of absence; from the first day of the service, only medical certificates issued on-site are accepted;
In the event of complete closure of the ski area. 9.8 Reimbursement Requests for pro-rata temporis reimbursement or replacement of services must be made directly to the Cercle Blanc Office during the client’s stay. Cases of illness or accident preventing the client or their relatives from traveling may, if necessary, be processed later by mail or email. 9.9 Exclusions All situations not expressly mentioned above are excluded, notably:
Use of drugs, narcotics, or medications not prescribed by a doctor;
State of intoxication, intentional acts, fraud, and conscious non-compliance with offi cial prohibitions;
Suicide, attempted suicide, or self-harm.
Applicable Law and Jurisdiction These general terms and conditions are subject to Swiss law. The legal venue is Sierre, subject to mandatory jurisdictions provided by law. The provisions of the Federal Act on Insurance Contracts (LCA/VVG) and the Code of Obligations (CO) apply for all other matters.
Final Provisions If any provision of these terms and conditions is declared null, invalid, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain fully valid. The failure of Le Cercle Blanc to exercise any right under these conditions at any time shall not be interpreted as a waiver of its right to do so later.
